The Study

The study’s main objective was to explore the potential impacts of screen time and physical activity with mental health amongst children and teenagers. The study gathered 315 students in the tenth-grade students. Participants were asked to report their participation in physical activity and their screen time through a questionnaire. They were also asked about their mental health status (ie: anxiety, symptoms of depression, self-esteem and quality of life). The physical activity aspect was measured by body composition. The study was conducted for roughly two months (Hrafnkelsdottir et al., 2018).

This will reinforce you not only to put your phone away when it’s time, but it also will help you manage your time more. Features like airplane mode and Screen time on your phone are your friends!

CUTTING DOWN SOCIAL MEDIA

If you have multiple social media platforms, consider deleting these all of these apps or at least some that take up the most of your time.

Set up meetings
